About Accidental Death of an Anarchist

An Anarchist has fallen to his death from a police station window. The question is: did he jump or was he thrown? As the police attempt to avoid yet another scandal, a mysterious imposter is arrested and brought in for questioning.

Seizing the chance to put on a show, he leads the officers in an ever more ridiculous reconstruction of their official account, hilariously exposing the cover-ups, corruption, and profound idiocy at the heart of the police.

This classic farce by Dario Fo and Franca Rame storms the Theatre Royal Haymarket in a bang up to the minute version from award-winning writer Tom Basden and director Daniel Raggett.

Skewering everyone from the Metropolitan Police to the metropolitan elite, and with a tour de force central performance from BAFTA Award winner Daniel Rigby, this is a show that will leave the West End breathless.

Relevant, Funny, Clever

See it if you want to see a phenomenally funny show. Clever, witty, fast paced and full of great references with a clear message throughout.

Don’t see it if you’re not in to fast paced farces or indeed, you don’t want to engage with a political message however well put across it is.

See it if The best thing I’ve seen in my fifteen years of theatre going. Hilarious, clever, and a tour de force of a performance by Daniel Rigby.

Don’t see it if You’re in the police force…

See it if you like a fast-paced farce that's actually talking about quite serious issues underneath all the jokes.

Don’t see it if you hate laughter or love the police.
